Canoeing has a tradition on the Tamiš. Always staying on the water attracted the population of this region. The plurality of gullies, parallel streams, bars and lakes that exist in this region is an opportunity for a beautiful and healthy stay in, more or less untouched nature. Rowing clubs, whose competitors also achieved significant sporting results, have also been established in the bigger places in the project area. The river Tamiš with its calm and slightly lazy stream and wild coast attracts lovers of nature and gives them many reasons for enjoying the water. The entire stream of Tamiš allows canoe lovers to have a relatively easy access to the river, and thus enjoy unhindered enjoyment of it. The only limiting factor on the Tamiš are the constitutions that regulate the river’s level due to natural and climatic conditions that dictate the Danube and the Danube-Tisa-Danube canal, which significantly affect the Tamiš, so unhindered boats must be divided into three parts: from the border to the Constitution between Botoš and Tomaševac, then from that constitution to Opovo and from Opova to the mouth.

Since these three parts are almost identical in length, one can say that Tamiš in Serbia has been divided into about one third of about 40 km for rowing sport. This “constraint” is easily overcome by providing up-to-date information on the regime of the work of the constitution, and it can be said that Tamiš was “swam” for canoes throughout his entire course through Serbia. Because of this, we divided the Tamiš into several continents which, with some of their cultural-historical, sociological and geographical characteristics, can represent whole ones potentially interesting for future users. In the allocation, the determining factor was the length of the route, but the interest of the sites and the possibility to spend a long time on the river, combining the sport, ecological and cognitive capacity provided by tourists to the river and inhabited places in its valley. Natural division, thematic continents and distance to the mainland were also factors that decided to reduce the number of canoes to seven.

Those are:
1. ROUTE PANČEVO – JABUKA
The route extends from the delta of the Tamis in the Danube (zero kilometer of the Tamiš River) until the twentieth kilometer between the villages of Jabuka and Glogonj. Pancevo is the largest town on the bank of the Tamiš with the central urban area to a hundred meters from the shore where you also find a number of facilities and cultural and historical monuments, and the mouth of the Tamiš and the Danube a few hundred meters away from downtown and the lovers of the river provides a variety of facilities and sightseeing and entertainment facilities. Apple is also on the very shore of one of Tamiš largest sleeves, so the traveler can keep and see the village and everything that it provides to potential tourists.

2. ROUTE GLOGONJ – SEFKERIN – OPOVO
The route starts from twenty kilometers (between Jabuka and Glogonj) and all the way to the Constitution at Opovo, which is about a forty kilometer of the Tamiš River. It is interesting to say that on this route are places that are right on the bank of the Tamiš(Opovo and Sefkerin), but i Glogonj is less than two hundred meters so while potential tourists-canoeists offers the possibility that during the tour paused at the very places and visit them relatively Easy and effortless.

3. ROUTE BARANDA – SAKULE
And the next route is also very attractive, because in the area of the village Barande, which is also one of its parts on the Tamiš Coast, there is the largest concentration of gloves, barred streams, bars, ponds that are ideal for bird watching and provide the possibility of enjoying nature in the land. The village of Sakule is very close to Baranda, also on the bank of the river, and also surrounded by a multitude of sleeves and bars, and with Baranda it makes a paradise for enjoying nature. It could be said that this route ends at the bridge on the road Kovačica-Farkaždin.

4. ROUTE FARKAZDIN – IDVOR
The Farkaždin village is also located on one of the Tamiš sleeves, and the area is famous for places for fishing. Idvor, which due to Mihajlo Pupin is a tourist site of national significance, is not on the coast of Tamiš, because between it and Tamiš is also the Tukoš river and a lot of undefined water surfaces. This is a kind of nature reserve that will be of interest to potential eco-tourists.

5. ROUTE ORLOVAT – TOMAŠEVAC – BOTOŠ
The next route is also interesting from the aspect of the location of the villages Orlovat and Tomaševac on the very bank of the river. These are small places, but they are very interesting. Orlovat is the birthplace of the painter Uroš Predic, and Tomaševac is distinguished in recent years with a jubilee manifestation that is completely different in a multitude of different “ijada” which has every place in this region. They have been organizing world championships in “banat shores” for almost twenty years every year, and this is another recommendation for visiting potential potters. This route ends at the Botoš Constitution.

6. ROUTE NEUZINA – SEČANJ – BOKA
This route starts from the Constitution at Botoš, or it is better to say from the place where the Tamiš and the Danube-Tisa-Danube cross are crossed, and that’s about an eighty kilometer of the Tamiš River in Serbia. It is characteristic for this route that the places located in this zone (Neuzina, Boka and Šurjan) do not “come out” on the Tamiš River because they are separated from it by sleeves like Neuzina and Boka, or a new defense embankment like Šurjan. The only place to reach is the Secanj, which has a decorated quay in the very place and the beach.

7. ROUTE ŠURJAN – JAŠA TOMIĆ – BORDER
This route is the shortest (about fifteen kilometers and least populated (only Jasa Tomic), but it is precisely because of these uncivilized lines very attractive for potential ultimate lovers of the river and rowing. The river is here narrowest in the whole course through Serbia and provides a different kind of experience .
